WTB Windows 2000 Pro

		I am looking to buy a cheap AND legal copy of Windows 2000 Pro. I need to upgrade someones computer (still running Win 98 FE) and they don't want to spend the money on XP. Anyone have an old and unused copy lying around? Please?? Thanks, Jeremy

		Food for thought: Win2K has no WGA, unlike XP. As far as security updates and such go, it'd probably be better to go the Linux route.

		The PC is my in-laws, so no way am I gonna give them Linux. The grandchildren play games on it. I really wanna get them on XP, but they have no interest in spending $100 on a new OS.

		Unfortunately, Win2K with a COA on ebay costs close to $100 as well. Beats me as to why that is... probably because it's Christmas time and everything is more expensive.
