anyone know of a free typing tuitor type thing my dad wants to learn how to type on the computer.

Not freeware, but buy him a copy of typing of the dead. I love that game.

Dunno where, but I'm sure you could find a copy of Mario Teaches Typing somewhere.

yea pc version of typing of the dead prob find it for almost nothing but it rocks

i suggested it to him he asked if there's a way to set it to a sped level (basically he really can't type and wants to know if you can actually learn how to type by playing it)

Mavis Beacon teaches typing isn't bad, I think you can pick it up at walmart or that type of store for like $10.

Typing of the dead really won't be a good idea for learning how to type. It's good for improving your typing skills but if you're starting out with nothing it's probably next to useless. I would go for an actual typing tutor program like dibz mentioned.

Whilst typing of the dead has an attempt at teaching you how to type I would agree that for people that have never typed before it may be too difficult.
