I am selling a mint condition TI-83 Plus Graphing Calculator that has only been used twice!

Still has stock 4 AAA Duracell batteries in it, that is how new it is.

It is listed on ebay right now for only $5.00, thought I would give some of you a heads-up.

Ah, i know those calculators all to well. Damn school. That would be something i could use though. The school always issues out old out dated ones.

everyone I know has to buy them, they don't get them issued to them.

I have a bit of a collection of them, being that I have a regular 83 and an 86. I have the 86 for calc classes, and the 83 for stat classes. I've done a bit of programming for them, wrote a small rpg for the 86 that was like a fighting sim with a bunch of options, and kept track of high scores.

I have one of those. We also use them in class. However, you can play Bomberman and Mario on them. There are also a simple but working port of Wolfenstein 3d which is cool. Check www.ticalc.org...

83 Plus? Anyone see the Silver edition? Makes the plus a piece of junk (or a door stop, or whatever).

But that's just my opinion.

the calculators are exactly the same...only differences are :

1) the cases

2) the silver edition has 1.5M of flash memory compared to the Plus's ?K flash memory

3) the silver edition has a faster processor.

the functions, button layout, and overall use is still the same. Either is good

Flash memory on the regular 83-plus fills up pretty fast as I recall, atleast if you haev a lot of stat applications (which is what the 83 is for).
