Those darn Nippon Ichi Games....

			The title says it all. I just recently purchased Phantom Brave, since it was on sale for 30 bucks (a nice change of pace) but I haven't touched either La Pucelle or Disgaea. Would I miss out on a lot if I play PB first? Are these connected storywise or is it just a meta-universe, a la Street Fighter? I would have bought the other two first, but they're still charging fifty bucks for them.....

			They aren't linked plotwise, they are just VERY similar in style and certain aspects of gameplay. I've played all three and in my opinion Disgaea is vastly superior to the other two in every way. If you don't like Phantom Brave don't let it stop you from trying Disgaea in the future.
