The only problem I have with this game is that I'm too good of a typist. Seriously, I have to watch my accuracy a bit, but otherwise I destroy it. Lotsa fun, but my hands start to hurt like hell after 10-20 minutes.

I'm just the opposite, I don't know how to type, so it is really hard for me. I tried to learn once, but my fingers that were supposed to stay on the home row spaz out and start moving around pressing keys at random. I still manage to type at 50-60 gwam--I just stare at the keyboard while I'm doing it.

This is the best typing game of all time.

I've always wanted to try it. I don't type properly, but I also don't look at the keyboard. Last time I checked I was around 60 wpm, but that's been a while so I have no idea if it's gone up or down.

I've always wanted to try this game out on the DC (I didn't know it was on PC).

I wanted to see how hard it was... Despite what you all may think from my very poor typing skills online (which is just my utter laziness while at work because my brain is mush from watching so much porn). I can type rather fast and well. I can type at about 55 wpm with a 90% accuracy depending on if there are any strange symbols like %'s or &'s...

I managed to do 60 wpm with 100% accuracy one time on a 5 minute test in TypingMaster 2002. You just have to be in the mood.

My first hit on google was www.typingtest.com....

I got 108wpm with 97% accuracy.

I used to IM a lot when I first got on the internet. The trick to effective IMing was to be able to type as fast as you think, to keep it like a conversation. And expecially in chat rooms with other people talking. If your response doesn't come right away, a bunch of other people's talk will get in the way.

The keyboard (button layout, button pressure, etc.) that you're using is a big factor too.

The thing with me is that I have the DC version of the game. I don't have my DC on a desk, so the only arrangment I can use is setting the keyboard on my lap -- not very comfortable.

I suck at this game, I like the idea and everything and if I was taught to type with Typing of the dead at school I would be a great typist as I have a very competive nature, however when I first got it at home I okayed it for like 10 mintues then gave up.

I also have the eva typing game but when it turns to Japanese text I am boned

I still can't touch-type. My highschool banned me from any useful classes after I opted out of an AP program. I'm sorry, but more work, same book = fucking stupid. Work smarter, not harder.
