The Poor Laptop....

So I get a call from a new client today that says her laptop is messed up. I say bring it over and I'll see what I can do.

This is going to take a looong time to clean up.

Who in thier right mind puts a candle on a laptop and lets it fully melt?!

Ask her!

Maybe it was some sort of dark ritual...

Thats nothing. When I worked for General Mills, a womans laptop was brought down as not working. They cracked it open and found maggots all over the system board. Easy to clean but, gross. And how the hell?? Another time, a different persons laptop wasn't working. When asked when it stopped, her response was after her cat pissed on it. That, we refused to clean. Gave her some cloths and cleaner.

That's fairly impressive. The maggots is much more impressive, and altogether less normal. But ever since I started working at an automotive store, my view of dirty has changed. Oh sure, it's oozing brake fluid, I really want you to put that on my counter. Thanks.

Although that does remind me of when my idiot sister let a candle melt on a television.
