Street Fighter IV

Street Fighter IV has been out for a while now. So, has anyone played this eye candy fighting game? If so, which version or versions (arcade, console, PC) did you play? If you played the console or PC version, which controller do you prefer between the Mad Catz FightPad... and the Mad Catz FightStick...?

BTW, the Capcom store... is currently selling the PC version for just $9.99. That is a whopping 75% off the $39.99 regular price. What a bargain!!!

Also, here is a link to a PDF of the training manual, courtesy of Capcom:

Yes really big bargain, let's hope with such price, it will make high sales, we need more arcade games on PC and not just FPS.

I am so disappointed that Capcom has decided not to release a PC version of Super Street Fighter IV. The reason given was due to high piracy of Street Fighter IV for PC. When I read that, I thought "what about piracy of the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions"?

On another note, here are the benchmark results of my new computer running Street Fighter IV (PC version):

SCORE: 6123

AVERAGE: 60.07FPS

OS: Microsoft Windows 7 Ultimate

CPU: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7 CPU 870 @ 2.93GHz

Memory: 16343MB

Graphics Card: ATI Radeon HD 5700 Series

Video Memory: 1024MB

Display Setting: 1920x1080 60Hz 8xAA

This PC should be capable of running STREET FIGHTER IV efficiently.

You may wish to adjust settings to higher quality.

But it's already set to the highest quality when I ran the benchmark test.

As far as I know, you can't take a modded 360 onto Xbox Live. The PS3 was only modded recently, and SFIV came out before that.

But yeah, even I was surprised about how rampant the piracy was for SFIV on the PC.

Anyway, I play on the 360. Haven't picked up SSFIV yet though, still enjoying Tatsunoko vs. Capcom.

I retract my disappointment. It turns out Super Street Fighter IV Arcade Edition for the PC was released after all on July 2011.

Now to wait for the release of Ultra Street Fighter IV later this year.

Ultra comes after Super, but what goes after Ultra?

I have it for the 360 (games with gold and all that), but haven't played it at all. I don't play fighting games without a stick, and I have never bothered to buy the adaptor to use my x-arcade stick with the 360.
