Sonic Extreme Demo Sold!

I just heard about this, hope it isnt old news, apparnetly somebody was auctioning off a demo disk of Sonic Extreme, the auction ended at $3000.

Kinda cool that it sold for so much, I would never pay that much and I don't see why anyone would. The game is just that one ugly-lookin level where Sonic goes around collecting rings, gay. If it was a near-complete version then hell ya, that'd be a gem.

This one just isn't for gamers, it's for mr. collector.

Ingame pic, seem to be directly ripped from Christmas Nights, there's a present in it which let you play with Sonic....

I think it's just a fake...

This is not a direct shot of Christmas Nights, as Sonic looks very much different.

To determine if the picture is a fake, you should compare the Sonic character with that one in the Sonic X-Treme video and possibly other Sonic titles like Sonic 3D.

The Sonic shown looks like pre-rendered...

I had a look and it does look like in the video!

I agree Ironmonger i think most people would love to have a look at this game.
