I've been playing Sonic Advance 3 for over a week now and have been pleasantly surprised by the quality of the game. IMO its possibly the best sonic game since Sonic 3 & Knuckles and is certainly the best in the advance series. The level design is like a cross between the best bits of SA1 and SA2 and the soundtrack is awesome, including 4 excellent remixes of Green Hill Zone.

I like the chao collecting for the emeralds also, it adds to lifespan of the game greatly and forces you to explore more of the levels.

i find the level exploration disturbs the flow of the gameplay.

in other words, its annoying i cant just run through the levels.

Until his feet turn into wheels when he runs at full speed like they did back in the day (and on SA1), I'll never play another Sonic game again. :rant
