Some converted foreign Sega CD titles crash

Hello,

I got images of some Jap and Euro Sega CD images that I converted to US with SCDCONV. I burned the image and popped it into my Sega CD.

The Sega CD loading screen comes up, it goes to the sonic/sega splash screen, then after a second, it goes right back to the Sega CD loading screen.

Another image I converted and burned stopped responding at all past the Sonic/sega splash screen.

Any ideas as to what is causing this? Maybe a PAL game not liking an NTSC system?

Any help would be apreciated.

many games simply don't work with scdconv, especially japanese ones, since their bootsector is much smaller than the US/EU one.

Oh, Hmmm.

Are there any other programs that can convert them so they will work?
