Buy a new Saturn :/ Where was the green light emitted from? The power light, or a circuit? Green light only comes from copper oxide from memory. |

The fuse on the power board should have blown before anything else went, unless you were experimentally using a screwdriver to connect random points on the board that is... |

I'll try to find a picture of a Saturn and show where it lit up. I wasn't even using a screwdriver, or even anything metal, really. I had a paperclip holding the drive bay status detector to the closed position with electrical tape, and was adjusting it when the light appeared for maybe a second at the most, and then it was dead. Edit: I couldn't find a good picture, so here is a diagram (albeit awful) ![]() |

from the position, I'd say it was the fuse. try replacing it for the same type. |

My minimal knowledge of electronics stops at basic circuit diagramming, Would the fuse be the 'I' shaped thing, the 'O' shaped thing or something else? |

it's a small glass cylinder with metal ends. |

I think I see it. Is it supposd to be black? (because it might have turned black when I broke it) It says F1 next to it. |

the black indication would suggest its blown replace it with another of the same rating, but before you switch it on check you havent dropped anything like a screw or any metallic objects on the unit (turn it upside down while holding the cd drive as well just incase theres something you missed) |
