Simple Catridge Layout

Ive opened a Genesis Catridge, actually a Pal Megadrive one, and found that it consisted of four parts on the inside, the board of course, the chip, a 47uF Capacitor and an unidentified pink pat which looks like a diode to me but is labeled as C2 on the board, the board printing sugests it as a condensator I think because of "--| |--", but it has rings on it like a resistor.

I would think it is a condensator, but are there ones which ringcodes in diode resistor axial shape which are very small?

The colours are as far as i can recognize due to the pink background, "big gap, white, pink, red, red, smaller gap as to the other side".

Anyone any ideas?

Does anyone know what the numbers mean,

on the upper right and the letter on the lower left?

Thx

Yeah, I think that is just a capacitor; some unusual constructions are in that type of package. I'm not 100% sure on the color code though. I found a page here... with a reference to the color codes, but there appears to be more than one standard depending on the exact type of capacitor...
