I guess I should have assumed it was just them being cheap asses. I googled it for about a half hour and couldnt find anyt good scans of the covers. On here http://www.genesiscollective.com/ShowPage.php?Game... they have what looks like someone mocked up to be an insert, but its too small to be of any use printing it, it would look like hell if you enlarged it. |

yeah that sucked. At least they went the opposite way with Sega CD. Talk about hard to keep in good condition. Most 32X boxes were cardboard too IIRC |

i dont think ive seen a 32x box that wasnt cardboard. |

Sega was jumping on that environmental kick, last I heard. Cardboard or formed pulp packaging for everything lasted even to the Dreamcast hardware packaging. |

Did Sega switch to cardboard for the later MD games in Japan as well? |
