bare with me its a long story i had a saturn mod with the 2 wire chip all was fine till 1 day it stopped working i opened it up and saw corrison around the tip of the connector of the chip i figure the chip was bad so i decied to replace it got from this cool guy http://www.robwebb.clara.co.uk/shop/saturn/saturnc... and was complete different from the 1 i had i followed his guide but now the cd rom no longer spins at all , so i got another saturn from ebay thinking the mother board was bad . the one from ebay and the 1 i had are to different lasers by looking from the site i bought the chip it shows i have 1 of each of 64(ebay) and 32(which is bad ) pin chips the saturn from ebay works and i also have swapped the cd-roms and the 32-pin works also so i left the 32-pin cd-rom in the saturn from ebay and tried to install the chip to but it doesnt do anything(it acts like the door is open says:" checking disk") when the chip is plugged in but works fine with out are there any guides out there that have a proper walkthrough for both types of chip ? should i try modding the 64pin and put the 32-pin backin the bad mother board ? is there anything for troubleshooting anywhere? im completely confused i just need a good walkthru!!! |
