Sega Mega CD Modem

		Hey people I saw long time ago device it called "Mage Modem" i think it was on some poster .. it was cannected to original version of Genesis and I think realesed in Jap only ... I was interested if anyone have any info or pic of it ...

		No, it was a modem for the genesis to play genesis games againt other people that used the modem. It was a jap only release, but very cool. Only compatible with the Model 1 Sega Genesis

		where would it connect to the model 1 genesis where it wouldn't to the model 2 or 3?

		Early Model 1 Genesis/Mega Drive units had a 9-pin DIN on the back of the console near the AV/RF jacks, this is something model 2s and model 3s don't have. This is where the modem attached you can find pics of the modem at this site: http://assembler.roarvgm.com... Be aware that not all of the Genny model 1's have this jack and on other units it's hidden behind plastic.

I SAW EXACTLY SAME PICTURES .... hehe must be only pictures on net of that damn unit ... BTW it was some kind a server that you dail ..and it like hook two Genesis ..or ? .. And Another one ....software ...it build it to modem like when you start Genesis know that unit is connected and that's it or some kind of swap ....(swap on cartrige ....I don't think so ) Let me know, if you know of corse Thanks

		Few more things ... that site is DAMN NICE !!!!!!!!!!! IT's like all pictures there that I didn't ever see .......teradrive ...WOW ... I'll give a fortune for that
