Interesting maybe you have the scud race demo and you could log what's done by this game. There could help to find a way to run it on a DC.

I have the Scud Race demo but unfortunately it only ran on the older NEC Arc1A PowerVR PCI Board (a.k.a. Set 2.x Dreamcast Development Kit).

Is there really no way to "hack" it ?

I haven't a clue. It's all in a .exe file.
