			Ok, Soon i hope to have a sega cd model 1 in my possession, would it be possible to change the access light on the system to a blue led?

			Unlikely, because the operating voltage for the new LEDs (blue, white, UV, etc) is usually much higher than the older reds, greens and oranges. If you can't supply sufficient voltage, they just don't light up.

			blue LEDs need 3.5 V, 3 to even light up. you should be able to get 5 V off other components, so at least the power light can be replaced. I wouldn't bet on the access light, tho.. the LEDs in the system most likely run on only 2 V or so.
