			Saturn questions & Swap help. I just got a model 1 PAL Saturn for the first time. I dont know much about the Saturn so i have a couple of questions regarding the Saturn and the Swap trick. I just made a backup copy of the game Guardian Heroes and patched it to PAL. I opened the Saturn and taped the swich. Followed Racketboys instructions and it worked on the first try! The copy of Guardian Heroes worked!.. But that was the only time it worked, then came the problems. 1. you are suppose to start the Saturn with the cd-r copy and:"Watch the drivelight - It will blink a few times. when it stops blinking, put in an original Saturn CD (any will do)." This worked the first time, but now when i start the machine the blinking never stops. So now i dont know when to swap cd:s.. can i swap anyway? 2. Everytime i start up the Saturn that damn "Setup screen" appears where you get to set date and time. When i put in these settings it only remebers them for ONE power reset. then the setup screen appears again. whats up with that? isnt it suppost to save these settings? And it really interferes with the swap trick. 3. Sega Saturn doesnt have memory cards? How does it save the progress of games? thanks!

			Saturn questions & Swap help. I dunno about #1 (I don't do swap tricks - getting a mod chip saves soooo much headache). 2. You need to change the battery on the Saturn. There's a small door on the back of the saturn, and you'll see a CR2032 battery (or was 3032? - it'll say on the battery). Swap it and it'll remember the settings. 3. Saturn has an internal save ram, which can save a limited amount of data, but that can fill up pretty quickly, so if you don't want to continually delete data, then get a memory save cartridge. Unlike the PS1, the memory carts for the saturn can save quite a bit, and just one will save many games.

			Saturn questions & Swap help. Thanks thumpin_termis, all the problems are solved now! I bought a new battery and now my saturn remember the settings. And that strange swap problem was fixed when i used this magic-electro-fixing-spraycan that a friend recommended. So now everything works fine!
