Anyone versed in repairing the MK-80311 Official Sega Saturn Lightgun?
I've just recently bought a Saturn from eBay and amongst all the stuff, I got a gun along with Virtua Cop 2. I had tried it on my own television, but it didn't work. I had put it down to the fact that I had a HD LCD TV (not sure if the TV makes a difference, but I just assumed, shrugged my shoulders and put Sega Rally on!) and thought nothing more of it.
I've recently tried it on a CRT Television, and still nothing happened. I thought that maybe the gun wasn't calibrated, and went to the calibration screen, but couldn't fire the gun.
I have noticed that after the thing is plugged in, I might get one shot (and see the flash onscreen), then nothing.
If anyone can shed any light on what might be happening here, I'd really appreciate it.
