Saturn Emulation...

Hello,

I am new to this forum... First I would like to say this forum is very AWESOME!!! :cheers

I have question if anyone can help... I have allot of original Sega Saturn CD games... I have downloaded some emulators that appear to not load me CD's or the emulators are just junk...

My cd's are in mint condition, with no scratches...

I would like some professional advice... Should I purchase a Saturn, or can I still play these CD's on a good emulator that has all the correct files to boot my CD's??? I would rather use my computer if I can!!!

Thanks,

Christo :thumbs-up:

buy a saturn; saturn emaulators are crap and there is little interest in the further development of saturn emulation apart from a small group of enthusiests.

The current saturn emu's need a really high end pc for half decent emulation, but why bother going to that expense when you can buy the real deal for less than $50?

If you have a very modern CPU, try SSF. It's the most complete emu out there.

If you got a slower system, do a search for girigiri-gav.

There's also Satourne and some other emus, but I only found a small handful of games that ran better on Satourne then on other emus.

Don't epect too high compatibility for any of those emulators though.

Thanks, for all the info... I think I will try to find a great emulator, but if I cannot find a good emulator, I will goto eBay!!!

crap is a hard word.

The Saturn is a very hard machine to emulate.

The people working on them are very smart and are doing a great job. however if you want an enjoyble experience, you need a real Saturn as compatibility is very low right now.
