Replacing parts in Jap Saturn with Euro parts

As my Saturn has recently developed a fault that appears to be a dying lazer. Can I use parts from a UK 50Hz Saturn to replace parts in a Jap 60Hz Saturn?

I have tried adjusting the orange screw as previously advised but that hasn't helped.

Thanks for any help.

Quite possibly not.

Could you get us a picture of the japanese Saturn's CD board?

I think it won't work, especially if the laser assembly board you are using doesn't match the mother board, if you install a 21-32 pinchip on a saturn that has a 21-64 pinchip the possible result that you're gonna have is a boomed up squares on the saturn main menu
