Quick Saturn mod chip question

Hello all,

New to Saturn modding but not to video game modern in general. I've looked up lots of topics regarding the installation of the mod chip in a Saturn. I've come to the conclusion that my Saturn is a Model two, 64 pin IC, with 21 pin CD-Mobo wire. I have linked three pictures below of my Saturn.

Btw, I think Racketboy's mod chip is the one I will be using.

Thanks in advance!

Also, any links to the installation of a mod chip of my specific Saturn would be much appreciated

you have a 64 pin saturn.these dont have a very high success rate with mod chips.they are cranky beasts.there is instructions here http://www.angelfire.com/pa/Raluminat/saturnmod.ht... and here if you have the ones from console goods. http://www.consolegoods.co.uk/...

I have modded 4 or 5 of the 64 pin Saturns without a problem.

The soldering point is very tight on that model, but your best bet is to hit your signal wire with a bit of hot solder and pull it away from the iron, to get a "string" of solder on the wire. Then you touch the soldery wire to the right pin and barely touch the soldering iron to the wire and it should heat up and cool in a second.
