Hey, Just wondering if this mod chip will work on a 64-Pin Saturn. It is from Jandaman's Store.... Thanks |
racketboy | Jan 17, 2005 | |||
Nope it won't they are the same chips as mine. |

Thanks for the help. Where can I get a Mod-Chip for a 64-pin chip though? Thanks |

You can't really anymore. Your best bet is to hack it or just buy a model 2 Saturn. Experimental Hack Instructions: http://forums.segaxtreme.net/index.php?showtopic=1... |

How come nobody has pointed out this place before? Has anybody actually dealt with them lately? |

That place has been pointed out before. I bought a few mods from there. AFAIK (and I have tried) those mods won't work in 64 pin Saturns. |

So their claims are false? That's kinda what I figured. Because if there was a good place to buy the chips, everyone would be talking about them. |

I kinda partailly have my (jandman) mod chip working with my 64pin sega saturn. I'm still testing, right now all it takes is some reloading in the cd player screen. It takes from 3times and up for it to boot originals and back ups. |

I purchased my modchip from Jandaman and it works fine in my 64-pin Saturn. Look here: http://forums.segaxtreme.net/index.php?showtopic=1... |

Do you mean a 64 pin chip in a model 1 or a model 2? If its a model 2 you can try basically any chip out on the market but the results for some reason or another seem to be hit or miss. If you are refering to a Model 1 saturn then yes you need to follow the hack guide racket posted earlier. |
