questions about the memory for sega saturn and sega cd

just a few questions about it...

one i have seen several action replays and or gameshark memory cartridges.. do they work ? well? lastly any harm to the system ?

lastly for sega cd i have seen jp memory cartridges ( cheeper then american ones ) do they work on american systems and american games ?

I use an Action Replay 4(5?)-in-1, and it works fine. Just remember that the extra save memory can only be used to transfer saves off the saturn and back, you can't use it to save to during gameplay. It works fine for this though. If you couple it with a PC-Comms card you can do things like save your bios to your computer, etc, too.
