Propeller arena?
Jedi Master Thrash - Jan 19, 2005

Would someone explain to me why it's illegal to sell Propeller Arena on E-bay, and why a topic about it gets closed immediately? My curiosity has been sparked.

Because it's a burned game and you can't sell burned games on eBay.

The topic was closed because we are seeing a trend with people starting threads just to point out auctions that violate rules. This happens pretty much everyday on eBay, so it's a waste of our time.

Nicely put racket.

Then what about all these threads that show people on this board alreaddy owning it, wanting it, or being willing to pay for it

Where did all the people who already have it get it?

Downloaded off the Internet.

EVERY copy is a BURNED copy.

I neither know nor care.

Can we drop this already?

Is it ok for users to put up links to where to download propeller arena, or is that illegal/against forum rules?

I would like to give it a go, but my google searches all come up empty for the actual game, i just get information on it

I'd be surprised if you were able to find a direct download link for Propeller Arena. You're much more likely to find it on a p2p network.

Take a look at segaxtremes bittorrent forum:

You can grab the torrent for prop arena there (assuming the torrent is still active).

I've never asked but I assume segaxtreme takes the "if it's old, it's ok to download" policy. After all, besides the torrent forum, there's also the soundtracks section, and the the bios are available for systems such as sega cd and 32x in the emulation section, none of which is legal to distribute. Only thing you don't have here is roms, though I think there used to be. Roms seem to have a way of attracting the wrong kind of people, both users and lawyer types.
