			Ok, I'm thinking on getting a sega cd, so, i have a 2nd version of the genny, what would happen if i got a version 1 sega cd? Would I have to get a version 1 genny as well? Yeah, yeah, I know I'm young.

			Both versions are perfectly compatible, only the design was changed between the models. because of that, they might look ridiculous if you put a different version Megadrive on the Mega CD, but they will work perfectly fine.

			I used both model Sega CDs with a model 2 Genny. Works fine
