N64 mods - RGB, 60Hz, imports

Hi,

Does anybody know whether it's possible to add RGB output to a PAL N64, or what the pins on the video chip are?

Also, does anyone know whether adding a US PIF chip to my PAL N64 will allow it to run in 60Hz mode (I know it'll allow it to play imports), or would this require a US video chip?

Finally, if the latter, are the pinouts for the NTSC and PAL video chips different? I'm guessing they must be, or the PAL mod wouldn't give a green screen on a PAL console

Thanks

James

As far as I know, 50/60Hz switching is controlled by software on N64, but that might be wrong.

As for the Pal RGB situation I have the same problem ... solution buy a 2nd hand US N64 and a voltage adaptor (they´re cheap). You need to open the n64 to do the moddification to enable the output RGB.
