My Sega Cd's Video is messed up always

I got a genesis model one and a sega cd model 2 and it works fine but when I use the sega cd the video is like fucked up. Interference all over the place not a clear picture. Its weired like because when I use the genesis by itself its perfect but when I hook up the sega cd and turn it on you can see the difference it seems to get bad whenever it accesses the disc. I guess maybe some device I have is causing interference maybe my tv. Any suggestions?

Clean the genesis-to-segacd connections as if your life depended on it, and try plugging them as tight as possible.

If it fails, try using another genesis.

Did you check the power supply because there may not be enough amps going in. It requires 1.2A

Has your system been taken apart?

Has the internal metal interference sheilding been removed?

Is this only for CDRs? or "burned" games?

How fast do you burn the CDRs? It should be burned as low as possible.

could also be a dying power supply.
