My plan to save Sega (today)
Sega Saturno - Yesterday at 6:28 PM
Sega Saturno Yesterday at 6:28 PM
I'll say upfront that the plan is still under development because I'm only 15 years old, and I just want to know your opinion on this, which isn't just a plan to save Sega, but the entire gaming industry. I'm going to create a company called Zurda, and it will create a 16-bit console with hardware similar to the Genesis. The console will be called Hyper Evolution. We'll have a mascot called Lunca the Rabbit, and he'll come packaged with the console. We'll create a CD add-on called Spiral Evolution. Then we'll create two subsidiaries that will be third-party companies called Titan and Rhoed. Both will have to perform well, making a profit and achieving success, and part of that money will go to Zurda. Titan will also make mobile games, and Rhoed will make exclusives for Nintendo consoles (to gain their trust, which will be important for the future). We'll create a new console called Power 91, and it will be a 32-bit console, meaning games like Lunca, etc., will transition to 3D. We'll also challenge gaming giants like Sony and Nintendo because they're not an obstacle, but rather something that will attract consumers who, out of curiosity, will buy our console, thus increasing our profits. Now, with enough money, we're going to do things. Important: 1. Zurda will negotiate with Sammy for them to acquire our two subsidiaries, and in exchange, they will give us Sega. If this works out, Zurda will become Sega. 2. Then, Titan will have to buy the rights to Crash Bandicoot from Microsoft/Activision and return them to Naughty Dog with a contract that requires them to make four remasters of the PS1 Crash games. 3. Rhoed will ask Nintendo for permission to make a remaster of Super Mario 64 and Super Mario Kart 64.
Now let's get down to business. We're going to launch a console that will use a 32-bit CPU unified with a modest GPU. The console will be called Sega Saturn. I know our competitors have a 64-bit CPU, but we're going to destroy them in a different way, not by having better hardware. The Saturn will use memory cartridges because I want the games to use all the processor's memory. The Saturn will be backward compatible with the Genesis and Sega CD, and we're going to re-release the entire library. The controller design will be the same as the Retrobit Saturn wireless pro controller, but with only two buttons on top and it's wired. Now it will have two accessories: 1. Modern Sega NET Link 2. The 64X (it gives the processor enough memory to be on par with a 64-bit CPU) We're also going to buy Treasure and negotiate with Titus to give us Bluesky Software in exchange for Rovio (Yes, because I don't want anything to do with Rovio, and it would be a thorn in our side). I'm going to bring back the Sega Technical Institute and Sega Sports.
.Ip's We need franchises that people loved in the 90s and first I want to take the Sonic redesign and remove it from the Sonic Team and give it to the SRB2 devs to work with STI on Sonic Xtreme and then we will hold a contest to hire people who can replace the veterans of Sonic Team (Yuji Naka, Hirokazu Yasuhara, Naoto Oshima) and they together with the SRB2 devs will be the Classic Team, we need Streets of Rage 4 in 3D, Revenge of Shinobi 4 in 3D, Dynamite Headdy 2, Vectorman 3D and etc,Also were gone to convice Pepsi to Sonic Team make a franchise of Pepsiman using the boost formula. Sonic game release order: 1st year: Saturn launch 2nd year: Sonic Xtreme for Saturn and Sonic Championship for N64X 3rd year: Sonic 4ever (2D game) for Saturn and Sonic Adventure (reimagined by Classic Team) 4th year: Sonic Xtreme 2 for Saturn and Sonic R for N64X 5th year: Sonic Xtreme 3 6th year: Fighters Megamix Yes, Fighters Megamix is better than the original because it will be a crossover with more Sega IPs.
Marketing and Launch of the Saturn Marketing in Japan will be the same as for the Saturn, but in the rest of the world it will be the same as for the Genesis. What they have in common is that we will add a 3D touch. Our slogan will be "Welcome to the Level 3D." We will announce the Saturn at Iicon (Interactive Innovation Conference): a new event from the ESA (organizer of E3), and our slogan will be 299 in response to the exorbitant prices that companies charge for their consoles. The Saturn will be released in October, and Sonic Xtreme will launch a year later in November, competing in the same year with the remasters of Crash Bandicoot and Super Mario 64, returning to the mascot wars. And that's my plan for now.
