Mp3PRO

Okay, I used to use Mp3PRO VBR a lot when I first stepped into the scene, but now I use EAC and found the LAME codec to be a lot better.

Here's the thing.
This area promotes Mp3PRO VBR in its music section.
The player I use is Winamp and the decoder is the official Mp3PRO one.
But when I active the decoder, the music sounds a little muffled, and when I deactivate it, it sounds louder, more clearly.

What's up with that?
Is there a better player that I can use to listen to Mp3PRO music?

No problems with it here.

Yeah, that's the one I use.
I don't know what's up with it.

When I turn on the option, the music sounds a little muffled, but when I turn it off, it doesn't.
Kinda sucks since I want to hear the full 44khz.

By the way, what program do you use to encode the songs?
Nero?
