i made this topic for everyone that has a hard time installing one, so the masters at this on the board can reveal some tricks and techniques they use.

also, can jumper wires ( i duno what there called, but the look like jumper cables, only alot smaller) work with the modchip?

The soldering required for modding a Saturn is very basic. Chances are that if you can't manage it, then someone you know can.

No, it needs the 5v to run.

last ques, do only the original red and blue wires work with the modchip to connect it to the 5v, if not, what kind of wires should somebody use. thanxx

Any copper wire that is easy enough to work with will do. |
