Hmm, I'm looking into getting a mobile phone, I'm looking for something with clarity and rare disconnects. And being knew to electronic handhelds that aren't game gears, i'm also looking to dip into the bells and whistles.

Being a cheap bastard, i'm looking for something under $150

Right now, I'm leaning towards either:

Sanyo SCP-4700...

or

Kyocera 2255...

Anyhow, any suggestions would be dandy. Thanks.

[Edit]

Also, I'm looking for something that i could customize, so the ring tone could simulate Human League's "Don't You Want Me", The Smiths, "Girlfriend in a Coma", or the opening Notes to Radiohead's "No Surprises"

I don't know about the phones you suggested, but at least in Australia, only Nokia's have ring tones that you can change (and only some of them).

nope. you can compoe ringtones with lots of mobile phones.

Check out the Siemens line-up.

though I don't really know what you can get for 150$.

M35i and C35 maybe.

But if you can spare some money get an SL45 !

MP3 player, possible Java upgrade, Sync Station for PC included, etc
