Hello, I'm new to the forum.

I think this question is not about something illegal or something, if so, sorry.

Is it possible to burn a working backup of an original Saturn game that runs on a not-modded console??

It seems that cd-r backups don't work because the have no "outer ring"...

thanks!!

so, when people make some program for Saturn, they don't play it on the console??

How do people who develop for Saturn play on the console??

there is Mirage unit which is basically big HDD box that emulates CD. You hook it up to DevSaturn - it has the VCD port at its side - and instead of built-in CD-ROM drive Mirage acts as if it's CD-ROM drive. Once all is good sent it off to be pressed...

there's a guy in UK with complete Sophia setup inc Mirage so he could answer bit better than me... I only have CartDev Rev.B...

and I believe that blank Sega CD-R ended at around 15000 yen which is like $135...

cheers
