Ok, soon im going to be putting in a new HD and reinstalling the OS and all the apps drivers and what not.. But its such a pain and time consuming getting everything back in order.. so after i get it done this time I want to just make a bootable restore DVD so I dont need to go through all of that again.

So whats some good programs i could use to create an image?

norton ghost....I think it's made by norton. Check it out, we use it at school to fix virus-infested pcs. does a byte-per-byte copy

Technically, it's make by Symantec

Norton is just the brand name

Norton... :wanker

Do it right and go with Acronis TrueImage.... I use it myself and it's awesome. Live disk imaging from within Windows XP, now try to make Norton or PowerQuest do that
