which one ? (modboard+shipping)

at GameGizmo: = U$35,47 => aprox. R$106 by Money Order or Fax

at Lik-Sang: U$27 => aprox. R$78 and I can pay at a local Bank

at Lan-Kwei: aprox U$15 => R$45 (I´ll receive exact prices by e-mail) I think that the payment can be made at a local bank too

I have a Saturn Model2 64pin-IC

GameGizmo's work the best. Especially if you use mal's mod guide.... No one knows why this works with GameGizmo but not Lan Kwei or Lik Sang.

well, maybe that capacitor at GameGizmo mod explain why work better

Tried it, it didn't work.

I tried changing the solder bridge as well. It just would not work.

There is no capacitor on the mod that Gamegizmo ships. I actually tried fitting one to a Lan-Kwei mod and it made no difference.

At this point in time I know of no way to mod a 64 pin Saturn with a Lan-Kwei or Lik-Sang mod.

does the gamegizmo mod board work w/ 32 pin saturns though? or is it better to just use a lan-kwei/lik-sang mod?

You know, that's one thing I didn't try.

I can't see why it wouldn't work.

While Lik-Sang/Lan-Kwei mods are cheaper, they only seem to work with 32 pin Saturns.

If you ever needed to you could always move a Gamegizmo mod to a 64 pin Saturn.

so I have to get a GameGizmo one

106 bucks looks just, to "protect" the lens from the swap

when I bought the console the price to "unlock" it was 50 bucks (brazilian)

I´ll try to find around here and São Paulo

Yeah, I saw that post too. I'm sure with any electronic device there is a chance you'll get a faulty one, but that's the first I've heard of a bad mod from Gamegizmo. If you get a bad one, return it. Simple.

I bought three and they were all fine. Several others have recently bought working mods too.

I am thinking about getting some more soon. One is gone already and atleast one more is already ear marked for a project. That only leaves on spare in case of disaster. ::

If I do get more I'll let you know.

BTW don't buy a mod for your 64 pin Saturn from Lan-Kwei.

It will not work.
