It's fun playing around with the BB employees *shrugs* They are salesmen. Although I've been told that they no longer get paid commission, they are still supposed to sell you stuff. I mean, it's Best Buy, a consumer electronics store. What did they expect, lol. |

It's fun playing around with the BB employees CompUSA guys are far worse. I was looking at a Mac -- I think they are pretty. This chubby 17 year old comes up to me... "Hey you wanna see some cool stuff for that?" ** kid walks over to software section and back with box in his hand ** ** He plants a box for Photoshop in my face ** "This is a really cool piece of software" he says. "Yeah, I use it all the time" I say ** kid quietly walks away ** Annoying. |

It's fun playing around with the BB employees Circuit city is comissioned. To my knowledge, Best Buy hasn't been commissioned for long time, if at all. The staff had sales goals, but they were not paid based on how much they sell. However, in the past they had incentives for selling more. |

It's fun playing around with the BB employees I wish companies would stop paying on commission. Sure it's an insentive to get them to sell their shit, but it's SO annoying! |

It has its ups and downs. You'd think it would motivate them more, but it generally doesn't. Or maybe it is just the people involved - I can vouch for Circuit City employees being especially stupid. Well, maybe it is Circuit City as a whole. They had a building in Central Park (we also have a Best Buy there). They build a new building slightly closer to Best Buy, and move into that, abandoning the old one. The building isn't significantly larger/better, and their location isn't better either. What the heck is the point of that? |
