Thanks, I really appreciate that link! I live the U.S and it appears that all his findings so far were U.S models so it really helps out.
I guess my best bet is to just go for a Saturn made between August - Novermber. Do you know if the country it was made in has anything to do with things, or does just the date matter?
EDIT: A few I've found were made in Japan and I was worried they could be the Sanyo models despite the fact that they were made between sept-oct. 96.
In your opinion ( I realize there is no hard and fast rule on this, but you've dealt with MANY more Saturns then I have so I imagine your opinion should be pretty good) Should I be ok taking a chance on either of these Saturns being the easily moddable 32 pin models? Or would you avoid the Japan manufactured Saturns?
1. Sept. 1996 Japan
2. Oct. 1996 Japan
2nd EDIT: I'm thinking the people I'm asking for the country info don't know what I'm talking about and just say Japan. Were any Saturns actually manufactured in Japan and does the country even matter? |
