Hi again

I want to keep some ports open for my Greatspeed GS-R250S; but it is rented from my ISP, so they don't allow me to change their default configuration.

So, I need to know if there is a way to have access to the configuration (192.168.0.1) without resetting the router (I would lose the current configuration, wich I don't know).

i believe you type 192.168.1.100 in your browser bar. leave the username blank and the pass is admin.....at least thats what i do, or very close to what i do for my linksys.

It varies by device. They aren't all necessarily going to be the same. Did you read my post in the other thread? If you're talking about opening ports, you shouldn't have a problem because of a router. If you mean forward ports, well then you might need to talk to your ISP about the situation.

I read your poist. If the firewall is that "protect your pc" option, it is unchecked.

I'll talk to my ISP, tough they have "great" technical support.
