Help With MD1 Scart Lead

			well what the problem is i bought a md1 scart lead from a shop boxed and it keeps flickering on and off, i have tested it on 2 mega drives and 2 teles same stuff so i assume its the scart, what i did notice though when i open the scart end up was that there is a small black wire looping from one scart pin to another and in one of the pins is a brown wire also connected, is this the black wire the sync and if it is it was my understanding that this should be attached to the metal shell not another pin. or it could be something else please advise

			Sounds like a dry joint, this usually happens at the DIN plug end of the lead.

			ahhh now there could be a problem there dude, its kinda sealed shut ???

			try disconnecting either pin 16 or pin 8 and see if it helps.

			ok when i take of pin 16 i get a black screen and it still cuts on and off when i take of pin 8 it just get a white screen no flickering on and off though.

			come on arakon there must be something what was the purpose of disconnecting them pins

			hey i have noticed there is no ground wire connected to 4,17, 21 being the outer shell pins
