Hi All, Got a quick question. I have 2 defunct JAP saturns and one PAL saturn. Unfortuately my JAP saturn died before I could test this CART device I purchased. I was wondering if anyone could actually identify it. I was under the impression is was a 4MB RAM Cart, but I can't seem to get it to work, and it doesn't appear as a Memory card. I currenlty am using it in a PAL Saturn, with a CD-R mod and using the JAP version of Metal Slug which has been patched for PAL.

Here is the picture

Any help wpuld be appreciated

My guess would be that it's a 1MB/4MB RAM cart (for SNK and Capcom fighters) and that it has a physical switch to change between the two.

Okay, it is a RAM cart of some sort. For some reason Metal Slug won't load, comes up with some Japanese writing, the only english word being RAM, however KOF 96 appears to work using it (Doesn't work without it).

If anyone has any more information that would be great.

Have you tried the switch in both positions when attempting to play Metal Slug?

ahaha yeah I've tried that. Worked in both positions for KOF96... strange it doesn't work for Metal Slug, oh well, I'm off loading it anyway, just checking what the deal was so I could tell potential buyers. A shame that acquired one so late. Would have been handy a few years ago when I was fully into the saturn

hmm, the label looks a lot like the official RAM cart label but not entirely... guess this is some pirate rip-off.
