I REALLY need some help on this one. I think that the motor in my SegaCD just died on me. I was playing Lunar and for a long time, and then the screen went black when it tried to read from the cd and now the game won't start. When I pop the lid up I don't even see the cd spin! AAAAARRRRRRRGGGGGH!

sega cd's are notoriously easy to fix.. if it is the motor they are easy to replace.

I think that I figured it out. It was the AC that I was using. It didn't put out enough mA required by the CD. At least I think that's the problem, I haven't tested it yet. The laser motor was working, but I think the spindle motor wasn't getting enough power from the AC. If anyone can confirm this, I would appreciate it.

you need 1.2 A to power the segacd.
