there isn't a aspi for 2k or xp i know adaptec's installer had a harry when i tried.

I installed ASPI Layer 4.57. Didn't seem to do anything.

What you probably really want is Forceaspi.... It seems to solve many peoples problems.

ALL XP issues with Gens were solved with Force Aspi.

I had another ASPI Layer installed and Gens did find my CD Drives, and all works fine until i close Gens.

Then Gens resets my entire comp. I will figure ForceASPI out later, hope that helps.
