			Could the batteries in the Sega Recharagble Power packs for the game gear both versions be replaced by opening them or were they both sealed.

			I have the original battery pack and it is easy to open using a small pair of pliers on the screws. There are also two clips 2/3 the way down to open the casing. The battery is very easy to replace seeing as there is a connector used to link it to the circuit board. The battery is rated as input of 9V DC -0.8A and an output of 7.2V DC - 1200 mAh. Is was a bit hard to find but i eventually came across the SC170PJ6-TF on this page; http://www.batterieswholesale.com/battery_packs_6_... It was the closest match I could find.

			You could probably use the higher mAH ones to get even more capacity.
