			Hi, I saw the link in the news section about the Boot CD for game cube, i was wondering if it was for real and where it is available from cause i want to play imports without having to fork out for the free loader

			The boot disk was just gag, its not real, unfortunatly. However, if you just wana be able to play imports, you can modify your cube so that it'll run them without any extra software. If your ok with the idea of messing with your cubes innards, go here... to see some diagrams on how its done.

			Well that only works for USA->JAP->USA. You can't mod your PAL GC to play US or JAP games or mod your US/JAP Cube to play PAL games. And most people will want to play US games on their PAL system.

			I think that there is a mod to make your pal gamecube play JAP and USA titles, it is advertised on these aussie sites www.balde.cc... www.burn.com.au... I have heard that the GC is very delciate when it comes to moding it, more so that most other systems, it this tru or just there to scare you off doing it yourself?

			Or alternatively just buy the Freeloader which is out on Wednesday! It's only like £15, so you don't have to fork out that much. (Edited by Omar at 5:29 pm on Feb. 3, 2003)
