It's my turn to ask question about one game I'k like to have more information about Gakko No Kowai, I have only that about it :

Gakko No Kowai T1205G Capcom 3DADV

Maybe someone have pics of it or can make a small review ?

Small review:

"Animated horror adventure"

that's the best I can do for now

Extra info:

Don't know much about the game but the full name is "Gakkou no Kowai Uwasa: Kako-San Gakita!!" (whether the u on gakko is there or not, don't know). Perhaps, using this extra info you will be able to find new information regarding the game?

It's a transliteration thing. Some systems use the "u" to double an "o", others use some kind of extension mark (but sometimes those get dropped due to technical limitations and/or laziness).

It there any fools-guide for dropping the u's or o's for japanese translations? It's nice to know your japanese counterparts aren't laughing at your inability to translate their l33t language

Don't feel too bad. We set them up the bomb all the time!!

Understading where to place the Us and Os is pretty easy... it is basic katakana!

 Scared0o0Rabbit Oct 14, 2003
I recognize one word in that title... and that's just because this year at fanime con in the book they had an article on why shouting kowai at a girl that you mean to shout kawaii at is very rude.

 Des-ROW Oct 14, 2003
Extremely rude.

And I do not think they are trying to get the name translated, it's pretty simple after all.

*points* you may speak japanese, but I hate to break it to you, a majority of the world doesn't. It's pretty hard to translate japanese when you don't speak it.

Now I know they don't need it translated, because they did that above, I was just making an attempt to bring some humor into the situation.

Ah! Gomen ne! ^^!

hey is that what Sakura (or maybe that was Chun Li) in SFA or Puzzle Fighter said?

What's it mean?

 Des-ROW Oct 15, 2003
That is the "traditional" Chun-Li Xiang taunt, and it basically means..."Sorry!".

I find it strange that Chun-Li speaks Japanese when she is Chinese herself? ^^

I was particularly intrigued by the Strider Hiryu model, where Palpatine^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^HMeio speaks English exclusively (and sometimes to no one in particular, since apparently he's the only one who speaks it apart from that irritating jetpack guy), leading to scenes like this:

:argue

:devil "Hmm... It is Strider Hiryu. He will never leave Eurasia alive."

:argue

What about.. hmmm... that black afuro man from Zombie Revenge who was the only character in the game who spoke Japanese all the time?
