I've found an old(?) 21-pin ModChip for the Saturn:

Does anyone of you know where I can find more information (with pics if possible) on how to install this version? (Searched for hours on Google, but most of the time I get an 404 )

I knew a site that described those older modboards... i'll see if I can find it

I hope you can find something

Or maybe someone with a modded Saturn wich has this type of modchip could take some pics? As far as I can see, I need to solder some wires... but where?

Try checking out the cached page that Google keeps or The Wayback Machine....

Hope this helps,

I also managed to get 25 of my own games backed up and working last night via the swap method.

It was extreemly easy.

Just need Jap origibal for jap backup and USA original for USA backup.

Hi Scared Rabbit

oooooooppppps looks like i didi it again,Will have to resize the pics,Sorry extreme.

Pic is from the golden days of arcade action-RTYPE 1 artwork.

I am an RTYPE addict and also have the pcb.

Would have been great if Sega brought this out on a complilation for the Saturn.
