EURO PAL SONY PS-2 and Region 1: US, CA DVD Movies

			Hello, I have an un-modded EURO PAL SONY PS-2 Model 50004 and I would like to know if it can play original Region 1: US, CA NTSC DVD movies? I have tried the Japanese NTSC Psyvariar II bonus movie DVD and it worked fine, but what about Region 1: US, CA movies? Thanks in advance.

			It shouldn't... But it played a jap movie? Maybe that movie was Region free (on the case is it called region0 perhaps?). But I know PS2s are supposed to all have region blocking.

Europe and Japan are both Region 2, for reasons that are entirely beyond me.
