Hey guys, I read a year or so ago (maybe earlier) that you can upgrade the collor pallete in Eternal Champions from 64 to 128, 192, or 256. How do I do it? I've looked through most of the options, but I can't find anything on it.

Not sure if you're remembering things right..? =)

It's my understanding that by default the Eternal Champions CD uses 256 colors simultaneously through a software trick, and is the only game to do so.

to answer Cloud121's question, physically change the PPU chips inside the Genesis. that is the only way to upgrade the color pallete.

you can use more colors, by chaning pallettes on the fly, that is, when the screen is drawing, and it reachest the end of a line, and is making it's trek to the other side of the screen, change the pallettes then. one or 2 bytes, nothing for the genesis.
