Does SEGA CD drive make Genesis games faster?

			Someone on ebay says that the SEGA CD add-on makes your Sega Megadrive games run faster and smoother as the Sega CD adds a faster co-processor to your Megadrive and more RAM is available for smoother game performance. Is that true?

			There are actually one or two Genesis games that take advantage of the Sega CD for som extra graphical effects.

			You'd have to ask the hard questions wouldn't you. To be honest, I don't remember which game or games it was. It's been a while since that particular conversation and I'm not even sure which board it was on (must have either been SeF, segadev or the old Tavern), but I can't find it anymore.
