DC Problem. How to fix?

		I remember reading a long time ago that as DC's get older oxide or something builds up on one of the connectors and can cause the DC to reboot and other strange problems but after cleaning it the DC runs like new again. Does anybody have any information on this problem and how to fix it?. Cheers D
